Video Enabled Ambulance
Bringing Doctors into the Ambulance when they are needed most
The President gets an Ambulance and a Doctor of his own, for the rest of us there is the swyMed Ambulance
Beaming the training, experience and authority of a specialist into emergency situations can have tremendous impact on successful outcomes. The swyMed Video-Enabled Ambulance provides intuitive, click to call connections between EMS crews responding to 911 calls and specialists at local hospitals or tertiary care centers.
A quick consultation and review of a crash site can help direct a patient to the care center with the resources to meet their specific needs. One call, one transport, one positive outcome.
The same technology makes high risk pregnancy transports, pediatric, or unstable patient transports less stressful for all sides as the patient can be monitored en route and both the originating and receiving sites can see and consult on the status and best course of treatment. And of course, there are also mobile stroke response vehicles like the one pictured above.
To date, swyMed has video enabled ambulances to serve as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), Mobile Stroke Units (MSU), Critical Care Transport Units (CCTU) and Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICU) in the US and Europe.
