Healthcare Innovations Magazine recently published an article featuring the rural EMS telemedicine project developed by Emory University in collaboration with swyMed.

swyMed CEO Jeff Urdan and Michael Padgett, Director of EMS at Washington County Regional Medical Center (WCRMC), were interviewed for the story regarding the mobile EMS (Emergency Medical Services) telemedicine system in Georgia.  Healthcare Innovations picked up the story after seeing a press release by DT Research, swyMed’s partner that provides rugged tablet computers for use in EMS, military, and other “heavy duty” applications.
