swyMed CEO Stefano Migliorisi to Speak on ‘Telehealth and Remote Patient Monitoring’ Panel at NVTC’s 2017 Capital Health Tech Summit

WHAT: The Northern Virginia Technology Council’s (NVTC) 2017 Capital Health Tech Summit will showcase how the intersection of commercial, government and academic assets makes Greater Washington the epicenter for innovation and opportunity in the health technology sector.
Stefano will be speaking on the “Telehealth and Remote Patient Monitoring” panel, where experts will discuss the current challenges and potential for growth in the area of telehealth and remote patient monitoring. The session will address issues of virtual connectivity, service delivery, research and practical use cases. In addition to Stefano, the panel will also include Mike Baird, CEO, Avizia and Drew Schiller, CEO and co-founder, Validic, and Ronald E. Yeaw, deputy director, Mobile Health Innovation Center (mHIC), U.S. Army Telemedicine and Advance Technology Research Center (TATRC). The moderator of the panel will be Dr. Sunil Budhrani, chief medical officer and chief medical informatics officer, Innovation Health.
